SubWallet Adding Wallet Efficiency in Dotsama

The Polkadot and Karura ecosystems, despite their flagship status, have often lacked native wallets with sufficient quality to facilitate a positive user experience. While managing the community interested in Dotsama and Web3, the SubWallet team constantly received complaints about approaching the ecosystem from members leading to SubWallet’s creation.

Dotsama’s inefficient wallet system was a product of the following drawbacks:

What SubWallet’s Karura Launch Means for aUSD

SubWallet supports assets on Karura and is the first extension wallet in the Dotsama ecosystem to support Karura’s NFTs. SubWallet’s backing provides a seamless user experience and enhances the usability of Karura ecosystem assets anytime and anywhere. Users are incentivized to trade their Karura assets on Dotsama, increasing aUSD issuance.

SubWallet also allows users to manage their crowdloan contributions.

aUSD is integrated into the extension wallet for users to use SubWallet and connect with Karura to mint aUSD easily. SubWallet aims to support users who deposit their aUSD to Dotsama applications once XCM is live. XCM is Polkadot’s cross-consensus messaging format that allows parachains to send messages, not only on Polkadot but to Kusama parachains as well. SubWallet will utilize XCM’s messaging capabilities to maximize aUSD issuance and facilitate user activities on the Polkadot and Kusama networks.

Karura will continue synergizing with SubWallet to integrate new features, including aUSD staking, farming, and additional yield-bearing use cases.
