Welcome to the Conversation: A Preview of Upcoming Kast News for Our Community

Everyone here at Kast is in the middle of the most magnificent discourse that we ever could have imagined. We’re deep, deep into figuring out what the future of video streaming and video chat platforms will mean. We’re exchanging ideas with the very community that sees the future the way we see it. That’s you, and that’s us. Combined, we’re the community that is building a future for playing together, watching together, and just being together.
In some ways, too, the hard part of all this transformation — in a post-Rabbit world — is that, well, the rapid changes that come are still pretty raw for some of us. No, we didn’t kill Rabbit. It perished for its own reasons, but know this: Rabbit will always be a significant chapter in the streaming story. Long live the Rabbit lovers in this world; you’re a massive part of why we saw such value in the best parts of that product. You’re a huge factor in motivating Kast to acquire the very best elements of Rabbit, ones we knew we could save and build on going forward.
So, welcome to the conversation. We’re actively listening, and we’re making changes. What are some of those changes? Maybe I can give you a peek behind the curtain. Kast is very close to some big announcements and, without stealing anyone else’s thunder, here’s a preview of upcoming news.
The Kast timeline is coming. Nothing is more important to us, here at Kast, than conveying a concrete understanding of what we’re doing with the platform, and what’s coming next. Easier said than done! The good news is, the Kast timeline is absolutely coming — it’s so close, now — and we’re mostly finished except for tweaking final details. Hand over heart, this will be part of our conversation with each and every one of you in the very near term.
Next, we’re doubling down on the product experience. The overarching idea that I most want to communicate is that Kast is focusing on a streamlined, feature-rich, clean — even cleaner! — product experience that defines and redefines everything you’ve come to know about us so far.
