KATANA’s Q3 Recap: What’s Happened & What’s To Come
KATANA is closing out a strong Q3 this year and marching ambitiously into Q4 with new additions to the team, innovative campaign launches, and stellar conferences right around the corner.
Here is a recap of what we have been up to and a brief sneak peek of our October 2018 plans:
KATANA has successfully made the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America. Every year, Inc 5000 honors America’s fastest-growing companies and entrepreneurs enabling that success. Our CEO Melissa Lopez will be accepting the award on behalf of KATANA in San Antonio, Texas on Friday, October 19th.
KATANA is also excited to announce that it has made the shortlist for the 2018 US Search Awards, in the category Most Innovative Campaign. The US Search Awards is a premier event recognizing talented individuals and agencies with the best achievements in Paid Advertising, SEO and Content Marketing in the United States.
KATANA’s innovative campaign technology and performance are found in our APU Case Study for a higher education client. KATANA’s president, JJ Bannasch, will venture out to Las Vegas on October 17th to attend the ceremony and await the highly anticipated results.
Our CEO Melissa Lopez and Business Development Manager, Derek Hanley, had an opportunity to attend the NACAC Conference in Salt Lake City last week, which was sponsored by Google. They were able to meet higher education professionals from around the country pursuing postsecondary education.
We will also be teaming up with Google yet again for HighEdWeb Conference in Sacramento this year. Google with be joining us in the booth at HighEdWeb as both co-sponsor and exhibitor, where we will explore the unique digital issues facing colleges and universities. We will be utilizing a personality test to demonstrate how predictive digital marketing enables us to optimize business data.
Our Business Development Manager, Derek Hanley is attending both conferences, while other team members (Sr. Marketing Manager, Jasmina Jahic, and Director of Data & Analytics, Corey Zalewski) will join him at HighEdWeb in Sacramento.
