Mental health explanation for those who cannot understand

When relating to mental health there is a concept about spoons that makes it easier to understand what it is like for people with mental health. The way spoons work is that they are jobs that you have to do each day every job takes a spoon and some take more than one spoon.

Each person only has so many spoons they can use each day. For everyone, that number differs only you can know how much you can handle in one day. Some people can handle doing everything they need to every day and not become mentally fatigued at all but some have mental health issues that make it difficult to do so many things in a day. Consider how many activities are too many or too stressful for you.

Some people struggle a lot and just getting dressed and taking a shower is a big accomplishment taking care of themselves making a home-cooked meal. Those are sometimes the hardest thing just taking care and time for just for them. It can be a routine to go to work come home and feel like there is no energy to do anything else but taking the time for yourself can help you recharge those spoons and using those spoons on you is important not just on evearyone else.
