🌞 22 of December was the winter solstice. In the olden days, this day was called Kolyada — by name of the Slavic deity. This day was filled with magic and mysteries. People sang carols, told stories, women tried to read the future, children frolicked in the snow. In Saint Petersburg, winter is snowless yet. Therefore we decided to cast some spell and call the true winter — full of snow, frost, and freshness. Let the winter please us with sunny and frosty days. Precisely for this case we kept the snow photo session. We believe that Winter is the main part of the natural cycle of life. Nature goes to sleep, and frost kills any vermin. So it’s highly recommended for all to play outdoor breathing the frosty air and frolic in the snow.
