What an odd league. Week 10 was full of head-scratching outcomes like the Titans beating the Chiefs, the Browns beating the Bills, and the Falcons beating the Saints. The absurdity was felt in our leagues too; Rob’s dynasty won, Joey’s dynasty team lost, and Dorman’s dictator team isn’t in the game of the week. Wild.

Games of the Week

Dictator League

Odhran v. John McG223

  • It was a Christian Kirk kind of week. The Murray-Kirk connection put Odhran way up over the top of John this week. This was an impressive win for Odhran because he started an absolutely perfect line-up. However, he didn’t have much choice as his bench combined for a total of 0 points. Nevertheless, John’s team put up a good fight but in the end, if you are starting more than one Bengal, you’re going to have a bad time.

Dynasty League

Dormanator v. Die Nasty

  • Ok, Mark. I see you. This match-up was like two ships passing in the night. As my team sinks down in the standings from its second-place start, Dorman’s team is rising. So it’s really like if two ships passed in the night and one ship torpedoed the other ship, but the other ship has always been nice to the first ship and the torpedo was really uncalled for. Anyways, as I said in the Dictator re-cap, it was a Christian Kirk kind of week, and not even Lamar Jackson could overcome that.

Keeper League

Swandog Millionaires v. Jules Do Full Rondos

  • It always feels really good when you make a trade and the following week the player you traded does bad and the player you got does good (I know it should be “well” here…I know that). That’s what happened here after trading away Zeke and acquiring Tyreek Hill. I have also found that in most cases, this is usually a one-week phenomenon so Zeke will probably tear it up the rest of the season. Still, it’s always nice to have an opportunity to pat myself on the back to a captive audience.

Trivia

This team RB’s have the lowest target share percentage in the league.

(No “Here’s the Thing” this week, will be back next week)
