I’m not sure how anyone scored any points this weekend with literally (not literally) every team on bye. I had two different leagues with benches completely full on players on bye weeks. You know what they say, fantasy football…uhh…finds a way.

Games of the Week

Dictator League

Dormansmash v. Spatatorship

  • Dictator league can be weird sometimes. Like this week, Mark will probably get “worst manager” but is also the winner of the game of the week. Thanks to tiered PPR it’s also virtually impossible to guess how many points a player has before checking the app. There are no easy wins and there’s a battle brewing for the last couple of playoff spots. Credit to Dorman who was able to put up 146 points in a league where six teams failed to get over 100.

Dynasty League

Big Bold Burly Babies v. RIP Nick Platt

  • This was a face-off of the Matt’s who both inherited their dynasty teams before this season. It certainly seemed before the season that Matt C had inherited the better situation, but this match-up proved that it was Matt K who was given the better pieces. Fournette, Landry, McCaffrey, and Kupp have all emerged as top dynasty assets for the Burly Babies. That isn’t to take anything away from either manager, especially Matt K who has put together a dynasty squad formidable enough to appear in multiple game of the week’s. Both Matt K and Matt C have developed their own strategies in moving forward with their teams. It will be interesting to watch these two teams long term and how they can make the most of a situation that was not of their own making.

Keeper League

My Team Has Playoffs? v. Gridiron Goats

  • Oh cool, another Mark write-up. Dorman’s once hapless Keeper team now has a viable shot at the playoffs. A playoff match-up with this Lamar-led team is one situation that the rest of the league should dread. This win was a Dorman-classic. DJ Moore, Chris Godwin, and Deebo Samuel have been long-touted favorites for Mark and put up a combined 81.8 points. And most “Mark-ish” of all…the running backs didn’t matter.

Trivia

This player leads the league in yards gained per route run.
