Week 5 Re-cap: You’re Fuller Of It

Holy points Batman! There was literally a historic amount of points scored this week. One player over 50 points, five players over 40, and 11 players over 30. Week 5’s perfect line-up consisted of:

• QB- DeShaun Watson — 41.7pts
• RB- Christian McCaffrey — 47.7pts
• RB- Aaron Jones — 49.2pts
• WR- Michael Thomas — 41.2pts
• WR- Will Fuller V — 53.7pts
• TE- George Kittle — 20.8pts
• DEF- Eagles — 32pts
• K- Justin Tucker — 16pts

That’s 302.3 points without a flex. That’s also not an unreasonable roster to have. It’s a daily fantasy player’s wet dream. Even having two of those guys (Will Fuller and Michael Thomas) in Fanduel got me $7. Drinks on me!*

Dictator League

Dormansmash v. Swandog

• First off, this league is wacky. Tiered PPR is a strange, strange thing. But that shouldn’t take away from Dorman’s dominant victory over yours truly. To give some context, I had Josh Jacobs and Will Fuller on my bench and it wouldn’t have made the difference. CMC and Mark’s forever best friend Chris Godwin led him to yet another W.

Dynasty League

Born for This v. Die Nasty (Formerly Trust the Process…that’s important for later)

• Oh look, another chance to talk about my team getting beat. It’s going to take a Herculean effort to take down Joey and his dynasty team this year. He has JuJu, Austin Hooper, DaVante Adams, Saquon, and Aaron Rodgers…ON THE BENCH. He still managed to put up the highest point total in league history (246.1). I’m not fact-checking that figure I just feel like that’s correct. Anyways, at least I still have this:

Keeper League:

Darren McFadden v. Gridiron Goats

• This happens every year. Every year I make fun of John’s team name and he wins the Game of the Week the very next week. I’m no expert, but this is a championship favorite team. When Patrick Mahomes has the third lowest point total of all your skill players, you’re doing something right. Good luck to whoever they play next week…

I want to note that John does not have Will Dissly, but I thought it was important that you all see this.
