While the Keeper team is progressing according to the outlined roadmap, we would like to share the results of the work already done with our users. Multichain functionality is a big part of our plan, so we are paying special attention to its implementation. We want Keeper users to feel free and confident, while enjoying the convenience and simplicity of the interface.

Meet Ethereum!

In the latest Web Keeper update we have achieved a key milestone, i.e. full support for the Ethereum network. Now Keeper can rightfully be called a multichain wallet that works with both Waves and Ethereum networks. What exactly awaits users in this update? Let’s find out!

Universal accounts. You can create a universal account that can access both networks with a single SEED phrase. Creating a universal account provides convenience and security, as users can manage their funds on different networks without switching between multiple wallets and storing different secret phrases.

Ethereum network accounts. If you already have an account on the Ethereum network, you can easily import it into Keeper. This will give you the convenience of using a single interface to manage your crypto assets

Balance view. You will be able to see the total balance in Ethereum and Waves tokens for all connected accounts.

Transfer tokens within networks. You will be able to transfer tokens both within the Waves and Ethereum networks from a single UI.

Unprecedented security. More features do not mean less security. Keeper is still as secure as ever because the keys are encrypted and stored exclusively on the user’s device.

The update will be available in Beta for the web version of Keeper. Follow the Beta guide and stay tuned for the mobile app Beta (Android) announcement in the coming weeks.

What’s next?

We are not going to stop there, and as we have already said, the work is in full swing. We will continue to develop the multichain functionality of the Keeper wallet to enhance the user experience and convenience. Here is what is planned for the future:

  • Token deposits & withdrawals
  • Ability to add any token to the UI
  • Ethereum DeFi portfolio view by dApps
  • Ethereum NFTs
  • Crosschain token transfers
  • Token swaps in the Ethereum network

We also plan to continue working on supporting other popular networks in the Keeper multichain. Which network would you like to see next? Please give us your answers in the chat.
