Many scientists and studies still don’t have an accurate knowledge of what human brain is capable of. Many people have a based or advanced knowledge of how our brain can develop or perform overtime, but even though, there are still a lot of missing information to know about human brain. Over the weekend, I went to see “Lucy” a scientific movie with my 2 cousins, and my uncle. I wasn’t really enthusiastic about this movie, because I was judging the movie by its cover at first, where a simple face of a woman appears. I didn’t have too much exciting expectation when we step into the big scream, but after the movie started to play. It literally changed my mood from being bored to focus, and paying all my attention to the movie. I’ve always been curious and fascinated on how our brain can be able to do anything it wants if a person might use it properly. Well, that was the movie about. The reaching and unlocking unbelievable abilities of the human brain.

The first scene movie started by a student woman named Lucy, helping his liar boyfriend Richard to delivers a suitcase to Sr. Jang, where he told her that it only contains paperwork. After Richard insisted her multiple times to do it, she did it unwittingly. Then Sr. Jang’s mob forced Lucy to open the suitcase by herself, since he never trusted Richard. After minutes later, she opened it, and it contained 4 pockets of CPH4. A strong substance drug that Sr. Jang wanted to transport to Europe for sale. The idea of Sr. Jang was to implant those bag in people’s stomach in order to be delivered. Therefore, after the mob killed Richard in the eyes of Lucy. She was perforce implanted with one of the powerful bag of drug in her stomach. Sr. Jang knew that those bugs of drug can cause a tremendous effect in people mood, but he had no clue that CPH4 can cause a person to seek for unreachable part of the brain.

After Lucy being kidnap, and placed in an isolate room, one of the mob member tried to raped her, but she refused, and she end it up kicked by the guy. As a result, the bug broke, and the powerful drug was released all over her system, altering all her organs, especially her brain functions. The quantity of CPH4 released inside of her was a high amount of chemicals, that it made her to acquire superhuman qualities like “Telepathy, Telekinesis, and mental time travel”. I was amazed how Lucy’s brain was able to unlock part of the human brain, where an ordinary person would not be able to do it. In addition, one reason that this movie has been placed in my top 3 is, because it gives true information about how CPH4 can naturally be produced. After Lucy acquired superpowers, she became dependent of those drug in order live and improve his knowledge in a fast period of time. Later on, Lucy went to look for a hospital to remove the CPH4 left in her stomach. Since, she was in a foreign country. She was able to translate all sign, and ad of the street with no problem. Then, she found and told a doctor everything she was experiencing, since a large amount of CPH4 was spread in her system, like how she was able to feel her physical and mental growth, and that she doesn’t feel pain or any type of emotion at all. Then, the doctor was surprised how she was still alive with a high amount of substance, because CPH4 is produced naturally per minutes in pregnancy women during their sixth week of pregnancy to give enough energy to the fetus in order to develop.

Then, she went after Sr. Jang to recover the remaining bags. He refused to it, and Lucy neutralized, and telepathically extracted the locations where the three bags were sent by touching his brain. She faced multiple danger situation, even death in her way to obtain those CPH4 bags. Later on, after getting those bags, she contacted a well-known scientist and doctor professor Samuel Norman to help her with her situation. One factor that professor pointed it out during a scene in the movie is, that in order to people develop and perform certain action efficiently from generation to generation is through enough knowledge. Something that Lucy have got. Then, scientists, doctor Samuel Norman and doctor’s colleagues met with Lucy in a lab to inject her the three remaining bags of CPH4 to enable her to reach her 100% capacity. During this scene, Lucy started a spacetime journey to the past, reaching the oldest discovered from mankind, even though, going to the very beginning of the time, and witnessing the big bang. It was a mind blowing for me, how our brain can possess infinity capacity of information. Lucy not only reach her 100% stage, but her body began to dissolves in a back substance, spreading over electronic objects, that eventually, she transformed those into a super computer containing all her wide knowledge of the universe. Then, she professor Samuel Norman took an advanced flash drive given by the super computer to share it with the world properly.

I would totally recommend this movie to anybody. As a matter of fact, the Lucy movie can make even people that have no clue to know how powerful and unique our brains are, how human brain can overpass any barrier no matter what is in front of us. Also, this movie can make any person to see the point of life in a positive way as well as to encourage people to study on different way of strategies to improve our brain capacity. The movie became the box office success, and grossed $463 million.
