I am a catholic person, who believes in God. But I believe in many other things, like for example the Universe and the reincarnation. I like to read when I have time to enjoy a good book. Many Lives, Many Masters by Brian Weiss was a book recommended for a good friend who believes like me in past-lives. This book is based on a true story, written by a Psychiatrist who meet Catherine, a young lady who has twenty seven years old and was seeking help because suffering from anxiety, panic attacks and depression. Her life was emotionally paralyzed in that moment, but their problems came from her childhood. After a long time of therapy without any results, he started to use hypnosis. When she was on trance, a new world opened and changes their lives.

Brian Weiss did not believe in the parapsychology but after four years of this experience, he decided to write this book in base of tapes he has from their sessions. He changed just the Catherine identity to protect her but the rest that he has written is true. He has written this success to help people to understand their current lives and why people have fears and couldn’t explain the reason. And his principal objective was to help and contribute to the parapsychology his experience and knowledge.

It has always been said that all our traumas in adult life come from our children. Few accept that they come from our past lives, and that every life lived is a step to the perfection of our soul. In this book, Psychiatrist Brian Weiss explains in detail the messages he receives from the masters who speak through Catherine. And he explains how every moment and death of every past life is lived in today’s life as a fear.

As always, people refuse to open their eyes when they discover new things and live in absolute denial until after many years of research they conclude that it was true and discovered it years ago if it is real. The same goes for psychiatrists and therapists regarding the issue of past lives, few accept it or are afraid to accept it for fear of losing their position or credibility as a therapist or psychiatrist in society.
