The Best Vacation Ever
The best memory I have happened in 2008 when I was 12 years old Me and my brother came from Brazil on vacation to the United States to see our dad, who lived at Coral Springs, Florida. In the beginning of that year we planned on doing a trip to Key West, where we were going to stay for two weeks enjoying everything we could from that beautiful place full of pure water and all the green of the plants. The place we choose was very interesting and had plenty of things to do; for example, camping areas, fishing, many pools, arcades, stores and delicious restaurants where we could go. But the best thing we could do for sure at that place was to fish in a boat in the middle of the bright ocean.
The first thing we did as soon as we arrived there was to make sure we built our tent where we were going to stay for some days; later we would grab ourself’s a cabana to stay the rest of the days. For the beginning of our vacation we would stay in our tent to feel the real climate of camping in the middle of the nature, but first we had to learn how to set it up since it was my and my brother’s first-time camping. At the beginning, it was complicated for us to set it up, so our dad helped us. After all the hard work, we did everything was prepared for the following days of pure fun that we would have together while we enjoyed all the stuff we were going to do.
Shortly, thereafter we took a walk around the place to appreciate all the interesting things the camping park had at the end of the day, and we discovered that they had an arcade full of cool games at the time. Since me and my brother had loved video games for a long time, we asked our dad if we could spend the rest of the day playing some games. After getting his permission, we played there for two hours, and we went to eat something after that so we could rest for the next day.
The next day, very early in the morning was one of the best days of our vacation trip, for my dad and I searched a place or someone that could rent us a boat to spend the whole day fishing on the high sea, and to discover beautiful places, for example, the little islands that were visible from the campsite. My brother and I had never had that experience before, and for us it was going to be the best thing ever done since we had been fishing with our dad since we were little boys, and never fished on the ocean before. After a few minutes, we found a guy that would take us to fish as a trip.
We fished for six straight hours having so much fun; in addition, in the middle of the sea the boat driver stopped the boat near an island and told us that we could swim as much as we wanted because that place was safe and had no risk. As the day ended, we were going back to the camping park with plenty of fish that we caught during the day and with a great experience of all that we did the entire day. After that we went in search of a place that we could have lunch because we hadn’t had a meal for the past hours since we were fishing and only had some snacks. We found a place that had great Italian food, and we all ate cheese pizza for lunch that was very good by the way. We soon thought about going swim to end our day with something that we could relax and have fun at the same time. So, we all went to the pool area and stayed there for a short time enjoying the warm water, with the bright water and many kinds of formats and toys it had for us to have fun.
However, we still had plenty things to do and time in our vacation, so most of the time we were relaxing or having fun with what we wanted to do to pass our time. For the past weeks that we stayed there we continued to do the same things that we started to do without getting tired of it, for it was our favorite thing to do. In the last week that we were there we moved to the cabana for the end of our vacation, so we could rest after all the days of many activity’s and having fun.
That vacation for me was one of the best moments of my life, because me and my brother could enjoy every single moment that we had with our dad, since we hadn’t been able to see him for the last four years. Nothing was more satisfying than passing all that time with them, and doing everything we could to have fun and appreciate those moments.
