Who is Ellen DeGeneres? Ellen is Emmy Award winning talk show host and an outstanding comedian. If you used to watch American Idol some of you may know her. She is more known for her humorous TV talk-show call The Ellen DeGeneres Show. She is not just a comedian she is one of the most inspiring key figures in the world. I discovered her show two years ago when I first came to US. I was not a fan of TV when I started watching her show. One day I went to shopping with my friends at the mall then I back home. I opened the TV to find some interesting movie to watch because I was bored. I didn’t find any movie at this time, but I keep skip the channel then I stop directly on her show. I decided to take a look because I saw the people in the show were laughing, I said it might be interesting. This is how I discovered her show, since I became a fan. I watch her show every day I don’t miss any episode. Ellen always has a celebrity in her show this is how I know some of them. She is really an open person. Watching Ellen gave me a lot of straight because she is always giving good advice. The best part of her show is making fun and also help a lot of people.
Her show has won a total of 13 Emmy’s and many People’s Choice Awards. If you are watching her, you will see she has a wonderful personality. She is always funny and good humored every day. I think her attitude makes her successful. If you feel lonely or you want to forget about something which give you a lot of problem I suggest you to watch this show. I guarantee you, you will laugh for almost one hour. She always has a competition during her show for her viewers to competed against each other, and the winners always get a big prize. Everyday she has a new guest most of them are celebrity. She is always making fun with them. I like when she has Kevin Hart as a guest, because they are so funny together, they will make you laugh for hours.
Everyday during her show she always has something to give away to her viewers or to someone who need help. Ellen has a good heart she always supports organization especially those who take care of animals. She said, “I believe in treating pets like you’d treat yourself”. Now during this month, she is giving gift everyday for her fans and her audience until December 13th. Sometimes I used to see her send someone in the street to give items for free. Last week I saw a woman talked in her show about what she did for her. The women is one of her biggest fans. One day Ellen learned the women was homeless and, she decided to help her. One day she surprised the women with a house that she bought for her. I used to see her giving car to the audience. I think Ellen has an organization which is saving Gorilla in Africa or she is supporting this organization I don’t really sure. If I want to talk about how she is helping people I will never done.
In conclusion, I think everyone should watch her TV show because she is a great person. She is always giving to charity, she is making people laugh when they are down. She is always encouraging people to chase their dreams. Ellen said “Life is about spending our time here contributing and not tanking away”. I love her.
