It has been another productive couple of weeks here at Keep. Our Development team has been “productionizing” the threshold relay prototype, as well as working on the on-chain signature verification and smart contract upgrades. Our community management team has been getting to know our Slack members by engaging with them 1-on-1 and we are astounded at all the awesome individuals we have met. We have the best community around, hands down. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to respond to us so far! We look forward to connecting with more of you.

The Keep Guardian — Why? By Lex Sheehan

Slack is a great tool to stay connected with your team and community, but it does not offer the security needed to protect against scammers and phishers commonly present in crypto communities. We have created our own bot called the “Keep Guardian” that identifies and neutralizes anyone trying to break the rules. Learn more about why and a little bit about how we built the Keep Guardian.

Blockchain — Peering Beyond the Bitcoin Bubble: How the Keep Network Works by Antonio Salazar Cardozo

Our Tech Lead, Antonio Salazar Cardozo, recently gave a presentation on Keep at Davidson College for the LaunchLKN event “Blockchain — Peering Beyond the Bitcoin Bubble”. Antonio gave a thorough overview of how the Keep Network works. You can watch his segment here.

Just for Fun: Spotify Playlist “Keep Network Jams!

Some members of our community and team love sharing music and finding new bands, so we decided to throw together a Spotify playlist called “Keep Network Jams!”. Come enjoy some music from members of the team and community. Feel free to add some of your own tracks as well. It’s just for fun, and we aren’t adding this to our official channels and will never announce anything via song. You can find the playlist here.

From the Community

Now that we have better secured our Slack channel, we are going to start letting people on the waitlist join our community. Stay tuned via the email you used to sign up for news, updates, and your Keep Slack invitation.

A member of the Slack community wanted to know why we are prioritizing building the random beacon before any other component of the Keep Network. See the conversation with Matt below:
