A liquidation-proofing tool for node operators, Keeper is the first of many upcoming grants

We’re very excited to announce that Keep has awarded a Community Fellowship to Keeper, a tool developed by Chronologic that enables KEEP stakers to automatically avoid liquidations while running a node on Keep Network.

Keeper is now live and ready for use by our community (and beyond!) at: https://keeper.chronologic.network/, where you can also check out a demo.

For an in-depth look at Keeper and how it works, we encourage you to read this blog post on the project and Chronologic’s excellent prior work on transaction timing optimization on Ethereum.

Keeper is a result of a Keep Community Ecosystem Develop Grant, and we have many more exciting grants in the pipeline. We’re also excited to give the Governance Coordinator Fellowship to outstanding and longtime community member Ben Longstaff.

Ben is a well-respected and active community member, and he’ll be helping lead and organize governance initiatives within the community. We see his involvement in an official capacity a big step forward for our progressive decentralized governance.

Ben’s responsibilities for this fellowship include:

-Lead vote methodology structure design with other community members when needed

-Moderate forums and regularly contribute to governance conversation and Discord

-Set up Discord polls for multisig votes

-Ensure Multisig members vote on polls

-Ensure Multisig members sign transactions

-Organize snapshots for community signals

-Create monthly governance updates for the community

If you’d like to get involved with our community grants program, reviewing this article is a great place to start. Keep an eye out for future grants and more updates, as more is on the way!

In the meantime, join us on Discord if you have any questions about the grants program, just want to chat more or are seeking a team mate for grant projects.
