Kentico Design News — 3rd edition
Hi and welcome to the 3rd edition of Kentico Design newsletter.
Every now and then, we pick a couple of articles from our designers, bits of design inspiration, and invitations to our events as well as recommendations for interesting meet-ups and community events.
Writing User insights
Every designer who has ever done any kind of research knows how insightful those moment might be. Nikki Anderson has a couple of tricks for this:
Introducing: Untools

Our designer Adam created Untools — a collection of thinking tools and frameworks to help you solve problems, make decisions and understand systems:
UXLx 2020
Not all conference plans were cancelled due to the pandemic this year! For example the famous UXLx went fully virtual. Our designer Peter summed up his highlights of UXLx 2020 in an article:

There’s no denying that emotions are a moving force that guides decision making. And not just that, but also people’s attitudes or behaviour. Our researcher Adéla uncovers some of the tools you can use to find out more about how you users feel while using your product (and of course how do we do it in Kentico):
Product perspective
What are Product teams and their advantages to Feature teams? And why OKRs are not the most useful framework to operate in? All of this and more in a wonderful interview with product management guru Marty Cagan:
Event time!
We’re preparing yet another design hour! This time our VP of UX Tadeáš Kubát will be speaking about How can UX make bigger impact in your company. We’re looking forward to see you there!
Will you be our new colleague? 😊
We are searching for an experienced designer who’d like to join our team and modernize the Kentico Xperience product! Read more [in CZE]:
