PUBLIC CHAIN DEVELOPMENT — Multidimensional Block Lattice
Our Multidimensional Block Lattice Structure TestNet was launched on October 10th. Wallet and Explorer received positive feedback from QLC holders! The development of Mainnet continues with a focus of global SMS billing and clearance platform together with Montnets.
Completed (Dec 5 — Dec 20)
- Implemented wallet management to support multiple wallet accounts on a single node
- Refined config to support auto upgrade config
- Added calculation of voting weight, accepted balance and pending balance on ledger
- Integrated debug client, wallet, ledger and P2P
- Added more testing cases for config, wallet and ledger
- implement “Task” interface and “TaskStatus” interface

An explanation of VPN Router and how does it work with WinQ
QLC Ecosystem is expanding, aside from the bandwidth marketplace dApp WinQ, the global SMS billing and clearance platform with Multidimensional Block Lattice, a new product will be rolled out — VPN Router that is compatible with WinQ, that further lowered the barrier for bandwidth monetization.
What is VPN Router?
They work as normal routers to expand broadband coverage, NAT routing at the same time can be used as VPN assets. Additionally, through WinQ, the routers will join the global P2P network for monetizing the bandwidth.
The top VPN operator on WinQ makes almost 900 QLC a week currently and we are expecting the users and connection time to double after WinQ 2.0 released. Connect the router with broadband, register the asset on WinQ, and you become a VPN operator that earn QLC 24/7.
VPN Router plus WinQ will be the combo for bandwidth monetization on Blockchain.
If you are not familiar with WinQ, the bandwidth monetization platform
WinQ is a dApp running on NEO started with the name Qlink MVP. Beta testing was initiated in March this year, great thanks to the beta testers who have been helping the R&D team. Robin Held, our community gave the MVP a name — WinQ. WinQ started its evolution journey from a WiFi sharing dApp, with NEO wallet integrated. Later it added VPN sharing feature, as well as IM feature.
The WinQ dApp achieved the largest user adoption during the world cup month, providing free VPN to sports fans. WinQ decided to remain operating on NEO to lower the barrier of accessing the dApp.
The sourced code of WinQ was published on Github and later handed over the developer community PlayBlockz Collective for continuous operation and development. PlayBlockz firstly developed an algorithm of VPN asset display, increasing the chance of good quality asset being found.
Secondly, WinQ Server was introduced, which will keep VPN asset online 24/7. This development greatly improved the stability of WinQ VPN’s quality and stability. Starting from being taken over, PlayBlockz has supported 10 rounds of VPN operators’ competition, converting the earning from Testnet QLC to NEP-5 QLC. During the competition, we welcomed more VPN operators joining the community.
Last but not least, we are pleased to announce here on behalf of PlayBlockz that the WinQ 2.0 will be available by the end of November with a frog leap upgrade, better user experience, wider usage. Please stay tuned for next update. WinQ 2.0 is now calling for beta testers as well, users will get 1.5X WGAS during the testing period.
