Manually verify for updates
- Click on on the Settings logo within the Dock on the bottom of the display screen.
- Select Software Update
Conceal a macOS system update
- Open the Software updates, then click on Advanced.
- Untick Install macOS Updates.
Enable or modify automated updates
- To download updates automatically, choose to Download newly available updates within the background.
- To install app updates automatically, choose Install app updates.
- To install macOS updates automatically, select Install macOS updates.
- To install system files and safety updates automatically, choose Install system data files and safety updates.
