Black Hat Europe 2017: NCC Group’s pre-event challenges part one

Black Hat Europe 2017 is less than one week away, so we thought it would be fun to release a couple of security challenges to coincide with the event build up.

NCC Group is a platinum sponsor of the annual conference for the second consecutive year and our very own David Wong is presenting his talk ‘Fed up of getting shattered and log jammed? A new generation of crypto is coming’ in the ICC Capital Suite at 3:15pm on Thursday 7 December.

Cyber security experts David Cannings, David Spencer and Anthony Long will also be giving presentations from our stand.

The first challenge

Below is the first challenge, a relatively simple crypto cipher:
