As we know, videos can be an extremely effective medium to broadcast your employer brand, work culture and why it’s awesome to work in your organizations. It increases brand awareness, generates more inbound hiring leads and needs to be incorporating as part of your overall recruitment strategy. What are some successful elements of recruitment videos?

Standing out. This is a time to be different. What makes your organization unique? Convey and broadcast your employer value prop here!

Showing authenticity. This is a time to show what your organization is about. The more authentic, the better it is as it will help attract the right audience.

Creativity and fun. Is your workplace alive? What’s the vibe? The moment a candidate walks into a place, they can sense the vibe. This is a chance to showcase how incredible it is and why your cause matters. Make it so that people actually look forward to Mondays!

Upbeat music. Music plays a huge role in setting the scene and showcasing the workplace.

Call to Action. Add your call to action at the end of the video. Whether this is applying to your postings or subscribing to your career newsletter, include it. Having lots of views is good, but conversion is even better.
