Keyslide v1.3.0

We’re so happy to announce that we’ve updated Keyslide to version 1.3, and this brings many amazing features requested by our community. We’d love to here what you think about it in the comments.

What’s new:

# DROPLETS (export/import slides)

Droplets are an easy way to reuse old slides on a new deck. But it’s also a new way to create amazing presentations with the help of experts.

We know, it’s hard to grasp at first, but believe us, it will change the way you create presentations.

The basics: droplets are like “templates” but for content. This means that, instead of selecting a design, you’re choosing a “structure” (layouts, text, images, videos, …).

When you create a new presentation, you’ll now see a new option. Here, you can select a Droplet from the list, which could be something like: “Business Deck”, “Tech Startup Deck”, “Y Combinator Seed Deck”, or even “Steve Jobs iPhone Deck”.

When the process is done, you’ll get a brand new presentation that already has many slides ready to use (with example text, images, charts, and more). These examples are previously curated or created by experts, to allow you to make the best possible presentation in a matter of seconds (literally… it’s 1 click away).

But you can also use it to create content that you may need to reuse in the future. For instance: you could create a new Droplet called “My Team”.

This way, instead of having to write your co-founders names and titles every single time you have to present, you can just import it. It will automatically re-design itself based on your current Template.

Keyslide is now FREE for everyone! This means, you can sign up and have access to most of our features for free… forever.

We still have paid subscriptions, though. But they’re focused on professionals, teachers, companies and educational organizations.

TEAMS (customizable / paid per user):

• Same as Premium plus…
• Customize your subscription: you can define which packages, how much online storage and how many invitations your team will have (info on pricing: http://keyslideapp.com/#pricing).
• Channels: this feature works like “computer folders”. You can organize your slides by topics or sections.
• Advanced privacy settings: have full control over who can see what.
• Corporate Templates: Smart Templates especially designed for your company.
• Admin tools for members and roles.
• Content ownership: the main account will always have control on their presentations, no matter who created it. So, if you remove a member from your team, you‘ll still have access to his/her decks.
• Request design reviews (soon): you’ll be able to request a design review. One of our professional designers will take a look at your deck and will give you feedback and help you improve your slides.
