Today we are introducing our governance system for all our $TANGO holders, giving them the power to influence the course of action. The first question that we are asking our community is:

Which investment programs would you like greater access to through Catalyst Bridge. Investment programs that are native to: ? Should it be Binance Smart Chain (BSC)? Or Polygon? Or should we utilize another program on COSMOS?

General information

The voting is scheduled to start on Thursday, 1st of July 12;00 PM UTC and will close on Thursday, 7th of July 12;00 PM UTC. Every $TANGO holder can participate, but the user vote’s weight is proportional to the user’s $TANGO quantity (the more $TANGO you hold, the bigger your influence). The process of voting is very simple: first go to keyTango’s address at SNAPSHOT platform in the designated voting time, https://snapshot.org/#/keytango.eth , then enter the respective voting proposal, cast your vote, and wait for the results to be published on 7th of July 2021.

What are governance tokens?

Governance tokens are, as the name suggests, tokens that give their holders the power to influence significant decisions for the cryptocurrency. $TANGO, as a governance token, enables the members of the community to participate in voting on essential procedures and decisions.

How keyTango choose what to vote on

At the moment issues that are subject to vote are raised by the keyTango team members. We encourage our community members to send to the TG channel CMs issues that they wish to vote on in the future.

Where we need your help

A vital tool that helps get us closer to our overall vision of “DeFi for all” is our influential Catalyst Bridge Program. It is a tool that permits keyTango users to invest in lucrative cross chain investment programs with exceptional ease of usage. We ensure that ease by simplifying the UX for our users and substantially reducing the gas fees through aggregation.

A crucial step forward involves connecting the Catalyst bridge program with other promising projects on L2 networks that ensure the development of investor-friendly programs that provide our users with diverse investment programs.

Wait, what does all this mean? What are bridges?

Let us go into the details of blockchain bridges. When you are trading/buying/selling a cryptocurrency, you are doing it on a particular blockchain on which the cryptocurrency is native to. For example, if you buy bitcoin, than your transactions are recorded on its own blockchain (Bitcoin) rather than that of Ethereum’s. By bridging blockchains, we give you the power to move transactions and data over cross blockchains.

What we are asking you to do is help us decide, through our governance tokens, which investment programs would you like greater access to through Catalyst Bridge. Investment programs that are native to:

1. Bridge to another Binance Smart Chain (BSC)

2. Bridge to Polygon (Matic)

3. Bridge to another COSMOS program

As already emphasized above, we desire to stick true to our principle of being the easiest to the DeFi space. This is where we need our community to help us make this important decision.
