In December 2020, we completed 2 years of our journey. The journey, that started in December 2018, with a vision to revolutionize book-keeping for India’s MSMEs. This vision is now a reality of digitally enabling millions of our users across the country.
2020 was a challenging year on many fronts. Yet, we sailed through it with the same efficiency and enthusiasm, achieving the business growth we aimed for. Here are our 2020 highlights.
- We closed our Series B funding amidst the Pandemic
- We are at more than 8.5+ million monthly active users spread across almost every district of India.
Focused on pioneering the end-to-end tech ecosystem in the country for MSMEs. With this goal,
- We launched MyStore by Khatabook, a digital shopfront app in August 2020
- We launched Pagarkhata by Khatabook, a Salary and staff management app for small businesses in December 2020.
We ended 2020 with,
- 16 million+ distinct transacting Users;
- 4 crore+ registered users
- 1.038 billion+ transactions recorded on the platform in 2020
- $100 billion+ Total transactions value recorded on the platform in 2020
- The highest user acquisition in 2020 came from Maharashtra, primarily Pune
