What Do We Have Here #003

Khene-Zine Monthly Playlist brought to you by Well Well Well

March 2018: Not just a military dance move, the march is often important for ceremonial occasions. Dumb March reference. This months playlist takes off with a futuristic journey into the unknown with the new space-soul single “The Blue Marble” by GUM. It then goes to Brazil, into a cinematic soundscape, up to the 14th floor, across to Vienna, down to Mexico and falling back in line with a big cigarette with no going back. This playlist seems to make absolutely no sense but neither does the time change but we still welcome it as an extra hours relief of the woes of nightfall. We all want music for something: something to dance to, something to cry to, something to experience with friends and loved ones, something to make memorable moments worth being remembered. Enjoy the music and hopefully it hits you where it needs to. Support local music and artists because without them what would you be proud of your city for? The Chargers?

WDWHH#003 San Diego shows: Ariel Levine, Thunderegg, Ethics, FakeTides (Former), Dream Joints (Wild Wild Wets) & Many More at Bleeding Gold Records Showcase 4/20 at Fair@44 in City Heights

Favorite Lyric: “Mystery of Love” by Sufjan Stevens: “I built your walls around me. White noise, what an awful sound”
