Stratis Identity iOS Release
On 18 July, 2018, Stratis accomplished their next milestone by releasing their Stratis Identity iOS application. According to the CEO of Stratis, Chris Trew:
Mass adoption of blockchain will only come through simplicity, and Stratis Identity offers a streamlined way to verify one’s identity through popular social media accounts, using pre-existing Microsoft, LinkedIn or Google account information. Once one’s true identity is established through our app, a Stratis Identity can be shared securely without ever exposing any specific user’s sensitive personal data.

Head of Communications, Krushang Patel
Last week, Stratis Head of Communications, Krushang Patel, answered questions from the community and gave some updates.Here is a recap of what Krushang shared in the Stratis Discord:
- The reality is that most products we are developing should be on mainnet by the end of the year. We have many developers working extremely hard on all the features of our platform. The new website is coming. Sorry for the delay everyone. It’s going to be great.
- We are working on a lot of content for the Stratis Academy and our official YouTube channel.
- We have many impressive leads we are working with that can’t be mentioned till agreements are complete. We are lucky to be in a space where companies come to us. What attracts them most is that we are a C# platform.
- GLUON and BeyondGlobalTrade are verified ICOs. Not all companies we will work with will do ICOs. Every use case is different. Other verified ICOs are planned for the future. These will be companies with revenue and in different industries than GLUON and BGT.
- Stratis will be exhibiting the Blockchain Expo in Silicon Valley, California this year. Chris Trew, the CEO of Stratis, will also be there.
- Cold staking is something we are still working on.
- The secret project will be announced in Q3.
Stratis Sponsoring Bobby Thompson
Bobby Thompson is a British Touring Car Driver. He is one of the upcoming talents in this expertise. Stratis decided to sponsor Bobby for the rest of the season.
He is racing in the British Touring Championship, which is the 3rd most-watched motorsport in the world. There will be 12 live races per year, all on national television.
Stratis is planning PR with them as we speak. We will see a lot of media coverage toward this in the future. On behalf of the Stratis community, we wish Bobby Thompson a great season!

Smart Contracts Bounties
Lead Smart Contracts Developer, Jordan Andrews, recently added a few issues to the list over in the Stratis repo. He also added a few bounties to that, varying from 10 - 50 $STRAT. If you know a C# developer that is keen on blockchain, have them take a look at those issues and earn some bounties in the process by helping out. You can find more information about all this here.
