Smart Contracts Update

The Stratis Smart Contracts in C# team gave us an update about what happened last week:

Bithumb

Bithumb is one of the exchanges that have listed $STRAT, last week Bithumb announced that the markets for $STRAT are open again.

Stratis Wallets

Over 71,000 Wallets for Stratis! The majority of those wallets (22,4%) come from the USA, a 5th place for The Netherlands (7,8%).

Github

A bunch of commits happening across 7 official repos in under 24 hours. As always the development team of Stratis is doing what they do best, work hard and develop innovative and quality technology.

Article Jordan Andrews

A great article was written by Jordan Andrews head of the Stratis Smart Contracts team which is published on Hackernoon. The article “The Importance of Modularity in a Blockchain Platform” can be read here.

Article GarryPas

Last week GarryPas wrote a new article about Stratis their Smart Contracts called “Tokenisation of assets with Stratis Smart Contracts” which you can read here. A big thank you for these independent articles about the Stratis Platform.

Unity SDK

Chris Trew, the CEO of Stratis Platform, shared in Discord that Stratis is going to release an official Unity SDK (Software Development Kit) this year.

Unity is a cross-platform game engine developed by Unity Technologies, first announced and released in June 2005 at Apple Inc.’s Worldwide Developers Conference as an OS X-exclusive game engine. As of 2018, the engine has been extended to support 27 platforms.

With the Unity SDK, two worlds (blockchain and gaming) are ready to merge. I am looking forward to developers building use cases.

Stratis News App

In Weekly #52 I shared that there now is a Stratis News App for Android made possible by community member Galmoli. Last week he gave an update:

The new version of Stratis News app is out. It integrates Stratis FAQ and @Stratisprojects (Twitter only ATM). Keep in mind that Google Play takes a few hours to show the update.

You can get the app here.

Stratis VS NEO

Stratis and NEO are two blockchains with C# as their coding language. I took the time to compare them both.

MediConnect

Stratis their verified ICO, MediConnect has started their presale utilizing the Stratis ICO Platform. The founder of MediConnect is Dexter Blackstock a former professional football player and ex-Premier League player. Last week the media in England picked up the story and this resulted in significant exposure for MediConnect and Stratis. The Mirror released their article “Dexter Blackstock swaps scoring goals for saving lives and the NHS after quitting football” which you can read here.

Dexter Blackstock, the founder of MediConnect, regularly tweets about his new project from his account. Dexter made a lot of friends in his football career, friends who have influence all across the world. Some of them took the time to retweet the story, people like Jermaine Jenas‏ and Joleon Lescott.

With Dexter joining the crypto space and in specific MediConnect and Stratis whole new crowd is about to learn about crypto and blockchain.

That’s it for now. All the best to everyone!
