Cirrus Sidechain & Smart Contracts in C# Release

Last week Stratis hit a significant milestone with the launch of their Cirrus Sidechain Masternodes and Stratis Smart Contracts in C#.

Stratis becomes the world’s first blockchain to offer businesses and developers the ability to execute smart contracts on the Microsoft.NET core architecture. Allowing C# developers to develop auditable Smart Contracts and be confident with the results as true C# code is executed on-chain.

Expect to see more exciting news coming from Stratis as new contracts are developed and deployed onto the Cirrus Sidechain.

You can read the full announcement here.

Alongside the release a lot of great articles have been released, here is an overview of some of the articles that have been published:

The Stratis Token Issuance Contract

The Stratis Token Issuance Contract (ERC20 equivalent) is now available for public review before the on-chain vote by the Cirrus Sidechain Masternodes.

You can find the Stratis Token Issuance Contract here.

Long term community contributor Neurosploit was the first one to deliver a community review of the code.

Stratis Projects V2

Stratis Projects is a website created by community member Crimejoker. On the new version of the website you can find all kind of useful information about Stratis such as the verified ICOs, Forks, Blogs, Team page and so much more.

A big thank you to Crimejoker for delivering this beautiful website all voluntarily.

You can have a look over here.

Cirrus Sidechain

On 1 July 2019, the Cirrus Sidechains were released. So far 41/45 Masternodes are handling the Stratis platform sidechains. These are all ran by different individuals who are investors / community members to support the network.

Last week we also saw the first transaction Cirrus sidechain transactions.

SegWit For Stratis

Last week Dan Gershony shared with us that he is working on bringing SegWit to the Stratis codebase.

While I expect it might take time for this PR to get merged this is a first step.

You can follow the progress here.

Stratis Block Explorer For Mobile

Galmoli builds Stratis apps for the community. Last week he announced that the alpha of the Stratis Block Explorer for mobile is now on Google Play. On behalf of the Stratis community, thank you!

You can find the application here.

That’s it for now. All the best to everyone!
