An Ode to a Beautiful Tree

It was a fascinating tree.

The leafy snare, most appealing to my flair,

So, I stared lovingly.

Rare for me to admire so ardently

that I dared writing an ode

Meticulously,

On a fine piece of paper

With the darkest ink I could find,

While wondering constantly

If the tree cares

For my endeavours

Inspired by unrequited affair

Dragged endlessly.
