Announcing the first wave of the delegation campaign:
Shortly after the Ki Chain has undergone an upgrade to integrate cosmwasm, we’ve introduced BrandFi and onboarded ElevenParis; the first of many-to-come real-life businesses to the Cosmos ecosystem through loyalty tokens.
Cosmon’s training-mode launch is imminent and with it Play-To-Earn will go live on the Ki Chain.
The chain’s security has always been a priority to us and even more so now with the upcoming of several DeFi products rolling out soon after Cosmon.
Which is why the Ki Foundation launched a foundational delegation campaign with the main goal of supporting the most professional and experienced validators on the chain.
We thought the best way to go about this is to make the campaign merit-centric and grant delegations based on experience, infrastructure, contributions and other factors we deemed relevant.
The number of applications we received from our validators exceeded our expectations! We’d like to thank everyone who took the time to fill-out the form. We analysed each and everyone of the answers carefully in order not to overlook any of the applicants.
The total amount of tokens allocated for this campaign is 37,095,000 $XKI and was distributed over 2 times:

- First Wave — Part II: 2nd tx

However it is important to note that this is only the first wave of delegations and there are others coming in the future to support our validators and bolster the security of the chain which is why we recommend to all validators who didn’t fill-out the form in the first place to do so in order to be considered for future campaigns.
