As the crypto market continues to develop and starts to look more like a proper financial-market investors and enthusiasts alike are looking for new ways to optimise their portfolios or find benchmarks or for passive investors put their ROI on autopilot.
As we approach wide spread adoption of the cryptocurrency industry we believe more traditional financial instruments are going to trickle down into to the crypto market and make it better and more attractive for everyone.
That is where Kianite indexes come in, we simplify the process of acquiring a portfolio of assets that are distributed across multiple blockchains.
What is a Kianite?
Kianite can be seen as Vanguard or Russell for the crypto industry we produce indexes with the goal of producing long term investable indexes that maximise the profit of our investors by curating a portfolio of assets who’s cryptocurrency is performing well on the market or is the most dominant in their market or whatever other criteria has been chosen to allow their crypto currency into the index.
What we are. And what are not
We are not an ETF (Exchange Traded Fund) provider, we do not buy the underlying assets of our indexes. To create a crypto ETF would be great but would be very difficult to do in the current market. What we are on the other hand is more like an ETN (Exchange Trade Note) we create assets that track the price of an underlying index and trade them on exchanges.
What makes us different? Governance!
We are working to remain in the spirit of decentralisation which is why the key differentiating factors for our products is Governance. We put the power in the communities hands to determine what assets should go into each index. We know that there are smart people out there that do great research and we all know that two heads are better than one (or in this case a few thousand heads). We believe that having crowd sourced research and information and then voting on it would be the perfect way to get the best results.
Our Vision
Our vision at Kianite is to become a household name in the crypto industry like the Dow Jones is to the stock market and to become the benchmark for investor portfolios but most importantly we want to provide an amazing return for our community and the people that have faith in our product.
