Research on the future of work. Interview on digital nomads.

My nomad story

I was a digital nomad in 2013.

Paid by client for overseas business development project,

I worked in Rome, Florence, Venice, Barcelona, Zagreb, LA for 1 year.

With Rimowa suitscase, I was very heavy user of Airbnb and became special member.

I was invited for user group interview by Airbnb HQ.

I improved local language such as Italian and Spanish by local teachers.

I really enjoyed in mingling with local people.

It was one of my best memories.

I strongly believe that more people should try this fantastic lifestyle.

Followings are the best pictures of my nomad life.

Future of work — Let’s make it happen

Pieter Levels predicted that there will be 1 billion digital nomads in 2035.

I definitely support his view.

His view is radical but feasible because of cheap air flight, cheap accommodation, high speed internet, etc.

Talking about myself, we are the biggest AI research group in Japan with 5000 members.

My current business model is AI developers to IT companies, taking commission from companies as a recruiting agency.

After being in HR business, I found digital nomad (or remote worker in general) is the future of work.

With more flexibility and freedom.

Its experience is fantastic.

My current idea is to build a software to help those remote worker.

It makes people’s remote life better, with the power of AI(mainly natural language processing).

I can definitely contribute to Pieter Levels’ vision — 1 billion nomads in 2035.

Interview project

After some conversation with few digital nomads,

I found that each nomad has very unique life in his/her journey.

Then we are starting a series of interview with those interesting digital nomads.

We mainly focus on digital nomad life hack — such as a strategy to find out good project, how to communicate with local people and how to be connected with digital nomad community, etc.

This will be a good platform for digital nomads to promote themselves.

I hope more people will start digital nomad life after being inspired by those stories.

Since nomads are in different time zone, we are sending the list of 5 interview questions.

It takes 15–20 minutes to fill in.

Then you can send us your favorite 5 photos of nomad life including your selfie.

We are happy to help your promotion if you have something to pitch.

If you are interested, please send me email. — dai@jenio.co

We are starting to connect digital nomads around the world.

If we reach to 1000 digital nomads, this will be very interesting contents platform for sure.

Look forward to being in touch with you guys.
