Nobody is talking to anyone. Nobody is listening to anyone.

When is the last time you went to a restaurant and saw a couple talking to each other. Now they look at their phones or take pictures of their food on the plate.

We pretend to talk.

We pretend to listen.

But we don’t!

Fucking superficial. Right?

Your words will be forgotten when the other person turns around to walk away.

I was recently on flight LH778.

I smiled at everyone from the check in to the ground staffof Gate Z62.

Didn’t get a lot of smiles back.

They did not see me.

They did not feel me.

They sure as hell did not make me feel welcome.

I got on board and met purser Mrs Bendt who made all the difference cause she cared.

Sat down in seat 95C

Next to me a young man, Mr. Tiffel, German born who lives in Singapore — most delightful conversation even before taking off.
