My HANSA Taxi driver picked me up at 3pm today.

To take me to the airport in Hamburg.

“Good morning. How are you?”, I asked. He just looked at me and replied “Ok”. And I tried to ask him a few more questions. I tried to be interested in his life. But he decided to do his job and just drive the car.

Will I ever see him again?

Probably not.

Did he care about me?

Probably not.

Should I have taken an Uber car? At least they know when I last booked a car with them.

As Berndatte Jiwa once pointed out. The thing with Uber is that they know who drove me, exactly how long it took, where he dropped me off and most importantly how I felt when I left the car. (Us boys from the KickAss Nation love Bernadette)

Uber remembers more about where I was and when, than I do myself.

Bernadette has a brilliant thought on this.

‚What we crave more than the commodity we think we are paying for is to be understood‘

Right?

We want to be seen!

We want others to feel us!

We want to be understood!

Whatever you do — never forget about relevance! In this case — personal relevance!

Whatever you do — think about relevance and how it makes people feel.

Whatever you do — think about the relevance and its benefit for your customer!
