Envisioning your Pop-Up Shop

Thinking of your picture-perfect storefront? Where would it be located? What would you sell? Who would your regular customers be? Exciting to think about, right? During our last Creator Hangout, Eric Ho, the founder of mILES, spoke to us about how he helps creators bring their pop-up dreams to life. mILES is a civic startup that opens storefronts to creative possibilities by activating urban neighborhoods for pop-up entrepreneurship, making Eric an expert in all things pop-up!

• Think about why the space you’re considering is vacant.
• Check to make sure the space has wifi, electricity, functional lighting, and plumbing.
• Ask yourself if the space is adequate for showcasing your work.
