Princess Lilibet Conquers California and Ryan Reynolds has a Vasectomy

Looking forward to Father’s Day next weekend? So is our favorite new expat, Prince Harry, who welcomed a second baby, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, this week, doubling down on his dad stats. This is fun news because it answers my kids’ burning question about whether Prince Harry has a last name (apparently he does — or at least Lilibet does), AND it caused us all to learn that “Lilibet” is what Queen Elizabeth II calls herself in private. Now that Lilibet is here, Prince Harry has announced that he’s taking paternity leave — which many are lauding as setting a good example (though I am personally a little unclear of what his professional duties are these days).

Elsewhere, celebrity dads are combining parenthood and entrepreneurship in new and interesting ways: DJ Khaled has come out with a line of strollers and diaper bags, and Ryan Reynolds will be celebrating Father’s Day (and promoting his gin brand) with a Vasectomy.

And finally, the IRS will be rolling out a new child tax credit in the coming weeks, which will be paid in monthly payments rather than as a year-end credit.
