Entertainment City NOIDA ties-up with Global Indoor Theme Park — KidZania

NEW DELHI, India. KidZania Journal. January 24, 2014. (English). –KidZania, the world’s leading edutainment brand with more than 31 million visitors across the globe to date, will be opening its second facility in India, to be located at the Entertainment City in NOIDA, National Capital Region. Entertainment City is a 147 acre development in the heart of NOIDA, housing the largest retail and entertainment destination in NCR.

KidZania is an indoor family edutainment theme park recognized globally for its unique blend of education and entertainment, rendering real life experiences that empower, inspire and educate children. It engages kids between 3 to 14 years with environmental stewardship, career exploration and social consciousness activities. It is an interactive kids’ city that emulates the workings of a real city. A city built to scale for children, complete with paved roads and cars, city buildings, with representation of real world industries which kids independently explore in a safe and contained environment. Just like in the real world, the KidZania city has its own functioning economy and currency (kidZos), and kids learn the value of money as they have to earn, spend and save kidZos. KidZania features 60-plus real-world establishments (Bank, University, Fire Dept, TV Studio, Factories and many more) and 80-plus role-playing options (Pilot, Surgeon, Fashion Designer)

KidZania is exclusively designed to help kids strengthen their ability to manage their world through key aspects of learning ranging from society functions, financial literacy, adult professions, team work, independence, real life skills and self-esteem. Each experience is designed to empower kids, giving them the confidence to be their best selves, and inspiration to be great global citizens.

Entertainment City is being built and run by International Recreation Parks Private Limited (IRPPL) a joint venture between Unitech and International Amusement Limited, popularly known as Appu Ghar.

Dubbed as the biggest retail and leisure destination in Delhi NCR, the city has the first state of the art Go-Karting track, track less train transport system, first TUV approved amusement park, international rides adhering to the highest of the European Safety Standards, along with soon-to-be-launched premium shopping mall ‘Gardens Galleria, NOIDA’ with parking facility for 11,800 cars at a time. It is to be noted that the Great India Place, the most popular shopping mall drawing the highest footfall in the entire country, is also a part of the Entertainment City. Entertainment City will also have a five star hotel with 200 rooms.
