KidZania Cuicuilco is Named “2015 Best Metropolis”!
CANCUN, Mexico. KidZania Journal. October 6, 2015 (English). –Tonight, during a gala dinner with representatives of 19 KidZania States and the Central Government of KidZania that attended the 2015 KidZania Zummit, the Institute for Ztandards Observance (I.Z.O.) named KidZania Cuicuilco as the “2015 Best Metropolis” of the Nation. Miguel Aguirre –City Mayor of KidZania Cuicuilco– received the recognition on behalf of the 10th KidZania facility that opened back in 2012. “I’m very proud and honored of this accolade. This represents the work, effort and passion that everyone at KidZania Cuicuilco and KidZania Mexico puts every day in assuring that our facility offers the best experience for our visitors. I’m blown away for the surprise, and very excited to share it with everyone in Cuicuilco”, said Miguel Aguirre visibly emotional.
“This award recognizes KidZania Cuicuilco as the best among the 16 facilities that were eligible this year. It acknowledges its outstanding performance, leadership, collaboration, strategic planning, sustainability and innovation, igniting the hearts and minds of the children in Mexico, empowering them to make the world a better place”.
A special mention was given to KidZania Santiago, which was the runner-up. All operating metropolises, including KidZania Cuicuilco, KidZania Santiago, and the recently founded KidZania Jeddah, KidZania São Paulo, KidZania London and KidZania Manila, will be eligible for the “2016 Best Metropolis Award”.
