KidZania Moscow Announces 8 New Industry Partners and Opens its Doors to Media for the First Time!
MOSCOW, Russia. KidZania Journal. July 17, 2015. (English). –This afternoon, KidZania Moscow held its second Industry Partners Press Conference, announcing 8 new Industry Partners totaling 13 new establishments in what will become Europe’s largest and Russia’s biggest investment KidZania metropolis.
Xavier López Ancona –Founder and President of KidZania– along with Gevork Sarkisyan –CEO and Governor of KidZania Russia– invited the new partners and guests on board of a Tupolev TU-154 airplane to participate in a “flight” to KidZania Moscow. Journalists were invited to walk through KidZania Moscow’s streets and see for themselves the scope of the kid-sized city along with representatives and leaders of partner companies present at the press conference.
The beginning of the conference was marked by a colorful 3D-projection on the plane and the performance of “The Voice” (Russia edition) finalist Ragda Khanieva. She became the first citizen of KidZania and received a passport from the President of KidZania himself.
The official part of the press conference continued by the coverage of preliminary results of opening preparation, the announcement of a new pool of industry partners as well as notes from the speakers. Representatives of the new industry partners told about activities they will have in KidZania Moscow. The full list of KidZania Moscow’s new industry partners include: LG Electronics, Rosinter, Detskiy Mir, Baskin-Robbins, the United Rocket and Space Corporation (URSC), Independence Group, Ferrero, and Colgate-Palmolive.
The URSC prepared an exciting surprise for all the attendees: a special broadcast from the International Space Station. The astronauts wished good luck to KidZania Moscow –the first KidZania in the world with a Cosmonaut Training Center.
“In KidZania Moscow children will become not only astronauts, but also try more than 100 different and interesting professions. KidZania brings together the children of the world, just as the ISS brings adults together.”

The event continued with a Ground Breaking Ceremony by letting the new industry partners set the first stone of their establishments in KidZania Moscow. Guests of honor entered the history of the city by leaving their imprints on bricks, which were placed on a commemorative wall in the city.
At the end of the press conference, event speakers and media journalists “flew” to KidZania Moscow on a TU-154 airplane, to see the city in the last stages of construction.
