KidZania Wins at the 2011 Cityscape Global Retail Awards

Global edutainment leader KidZania is the award winner for Innovation in Retail by Cityscape Global, the essential business-to-business networking exhibition and conference bringing together the Middle East’s most influential and respected leaders in real estate, retail, and leisure. The award recognizes KidZania for its originality, imagination and impact on the consumer.

KidZania’s Executive Vice President, Andrew Darrow, accepted the award which was presented at Cityscape Global Retail Awards ceremony at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. “It is a great honor for KidZania to be recognized by such elite professionals for its innovative success,” stated Darrow. KidZanias are located within the world’s most popular and prestigious shopping centers. With eight parks in six countries, and more than 15 new locations in development, KidZania has quickly become the premiere global retail leisure destination.

Earlier in the day, Darrow presented the keynote address for the conference entitled “Implementing Innovative Entertainment Concepts”. The keynote focused on why and how retail destinations must engage customers with unique experiences in the face of a rapidly evolving technological world.
