LOUISVILLE, Kentucky. WHAS11.com. August 24, 2012. (English) by Gabrielle Fuller. -When was the last time you bought a roll of film, or used a camera that actually used film? That is one reason that iconic photography company Kodak, is putting its film business up for sale.

The company is struggling to adapt to changing technology and reorganize under bankruptcy protection. The unit being sold also includes Kodak’s retail division, which includes photo printing labs and kiosks, and the division that provides souvenir photos at theme parks. Kodak’s CEO says he wants the deal to go through in the first half of next year.
