Episode 5 — Turban

To start, I want to make two things clear. The first being that the point of this episode is not to discriminate against anyone and their customs or religious practices. The second is a warning, that the second half of this episode will contain some gruesome facts about sexual assault, I will warn you before that begins.

Different religions have different traditions, and customs. One of these being a turban. There are many variations, and it is worn as customary headwear by men of various countries. Wearing turbans is common among Sikhs, including women. The headgear also serves as a religious observance, often among Muslims. But, they also double as a murder weapon.

The sad truth is that as of 2015 one in 71 men will be raped at some point in their lives. 27.8% of those are age 10 or younger at the time of their first rape or assault. 96% of people who sexually abuse children are male, and 76.8% of people who sexually abuse children are adults. Abul Djabar, was one of these statistics.
