25 June 2021, Berlin and Singapore — KILT Protocol today announced an integration with Subscan, a blockchain explorer built for Substrate-based networks. Subscan supports Polkadot, Kusama, Kulupu, Darwinia, Edgeware, Centrifuge and now KILT Protocol, as well as other networks.

Subscan can be used to search, analyse and visualise various types of blockchain data. In addition, Subscan’s responsive design supports desktop and mobile users.

Now users of KILT’s “Peregrine” testnet — and KILT’s “Spiritnet” mainnet as soon as it is live — can access Subscan to:

KILT Protocol will be used for issuing decentralised identifiers and verifiable credentials. KILT brings the traditional process of trust in real-world credentials (passport, driving licence, certificates) into the digital world, representing your identity while keeping your data private and in your possession. KILT’s mainnet will launch in the Polkadot ecosystem after it secures a Kusama parachain.

About Subscan

Subscan.io is a high-precision multi-chain explorer built for substrate-based blockchains. Subscan supports data exploration and visualization of more than a dozen networks in the Polkadot ecosystem.

About KILT Protocol

KILT is an open-source blockchain protocol for issuing claim-based verifiable, revocable, and anonymous credentials for Web 3.0. It allows users to claim arbitrary attributes about themselves, have them attested by trusted entities, and store the claims as self-sovereign credentials. KILT Protocol is developed by BOTLabs GmbH and is the technology on which SocialKYC, a decentralised identity verification service, is built.
