Working Out with Artificial Intelligence is a Game-changer

Going to the gym, trying to figure out what to do, how to do it, and most importantly how now to hurt myself, has always been a nightmare. I’ve worked with personal trainers for short periods of time with success, but my work/travel schedule always finds a way to kill my routine, leaving me frustrated and discouraged until now…

I found an app that has truly been a game-changer. The app enables me to work out at home, or at any gym, with success, without injury, and feeling confident that I don’t look like an idiot. No one wants to be that person.

FitBod Muscle Status Screen

FitBod uses Artificial Intelligence (a training algorithm) to build a fitness program customized to meet your goals. Every workout adapts to your current muscle status, prior reps and weights, and keeps your workouts fresh and fun. One of my favorite features is that you can set up multiple gyms. I have my home gym, my Planet Fitness gym when I travel, and one called Crappy Gym when I’m stuck working out somewhere like a Courtyard Hotel, because I can’t find a hotel anywhere close to a Planet Fitness. This is huge, because the app automatically adjusts my workout based on the equipment I have.

As I get stronger, and master exercises, the app pushes me. FitBod’s algorithm adds weight/reps to help me achieve my goals. On my smartphone screen, every exercise shows a written description and video showing how the movement is property done. I now have a fitness routine that isn’t disrupted, or crushed, by my changing work/travel schedule. I now have a personal trainer, which I named Freddie, that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, anywhere in the world. Freddie even adapts from pounds to kilos when I’m in Europe. I love Freddie.
