Starter
Today, we are heading to Hallstatt! Since it’s quite far from Wien, we decided to visit this small town first before moving on to the capital. From Cesky Krumlov to Hallstatt, we had to travel about 300km again.
The road wasn’t clear, accompanied by cloudy weather. The narrow roads barely allowed one car to pass, and tall trees surrounded us. Today might be the quietest day in the car. There’s a sense of regret and bitterness as we head to Austria, the last destination of this trip. Everything, including the regrets from previous days’ travels and the cloudy weather, seemed to imply that the end of the journey was approaching.
To make matters worse, we encountered a crisis as we hadn’t checked the fuel in the car before setting off. We hadn’t even left the mountain trail when this small event confronted us. We didn’t think such a small event would successfully change the mood.
As we happened to be crossing the Austrian border, the SIM card didn’t work, and the roads began to split into multiple directions. The car would come to a halt after another 12km. Everyone started pouring all their attention into solving this situation. Luckily, we managed to find a small village gas station with just 2km to spare.
The relief of tension was accompanied by a sense of relief and physiological reactions. There was a collective…
