Last week the Kin Ecosystem squad, the team responsible for discovering an onboarding new partners for the Kin Ecosystem, visited Casual Connect in London. For those who don’t know, Casual Connect is a long running event that attracts professionals from different areas of the gaming space. For me, it was my first visit to a large game event, and I was thrilled to see this colorful market, one which is very accepting of technological changes and advancement.

Even without a speaking spot or sponsorship, we were able to arrange 32 meetings during the 3 day event, something that speaks to the market’s desire for new technologies, including blockchain and crypto, and new ways of imagining user engagement and revenue. Our meetings ran the spectrum from large game developers, mobile developers, and game studios to ad agencies and service providers.

Across all of the conversations I had, I saw a true excitement both for Kin as a cryptocurrency and SDK, and for the idea and vision that stands behind Kin: a more fair digital world, where businesses of all sizes have a true chance for success, and where users and app developers interests are aligned, removing the need to steal user data or ruin otherwise amazing apps with an avalanche of ads. These conversation helps us really understand the market, and the excitement for a new way forward.

As a Tel Aviv based squad, in a city known for being at the bleeding edge of blockchain and crypto innovation, we understand the important potential embedded in these emerging technologies, but we have also seen that much like during the internet boom of the 90’s it is not great tech alone that creates lasting success. Without the right use cases, based on a well developed understanding of current market needs, even the best tech will fall flat. That’s why events like Casual Connect are so valuable; they allow us to not only meet potential partners, but to also keep the conversation going, and make sure that we are always moving closer to our goal of creating a more fair digital world.

We are proud of our unique and innovative story, and know that the best way to achieve mass adoption is for people to hear it for themselves and see our excitement. We are looking forward to our next event, which will be held in Tel Aviv next Wednesday the 12 of June so that we can continue to do just that..

Contact me if you would like to meet during the event and hear more about Kin ecosystem.
