Dr. Ajay Kapur is the Associate Provost for Creative Technologies and Director of Music Technology — Interaction, Intelligence, and Design at Walt Disney’s California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). He has officially joined the Advisory board of Kindly to assist in creating a new innovative NFT-based product that will be announced later this year.

With his experience in artificial Intelligence, Interactive Design, digital arts, and a portfolio of over 20 blockchain 2.0 NFT-based patents, Kapur will play an important role in creating what will be one the most innovative NFT-based projects ever to be released.

“The future of NFTs I am most excited about is combining blockchain infrastructure for social impact, creating pathways for donors to charities to invest into campaigns as they evolve. Kindly has developed a groundbreaking model that accomplishes this in a scalable and impactful way. What the team has come up with is truly innovative and needed in this market as we start pushing forward on the next generation of how blockchain and NFTs will play a meaningful part of our society.. It is a pleasure to work with such an inspiring team, and I’m looking forward to spreading kindness and social impact in the world through this new platform,” Kapur said.

Kindly chats with Ajay Kapur (Director of Walt Disney’s CalArts) and Michael Kirlew (CEO of Kindly) about NFTs and the future of Web3 technology

“Ajay has already proven his value to Kindly, having guided us in developing our upcoming and highly innovative NFT project. As well as introducing us to our award-winning NFT artist, whom we will announce soon,” explained the Co-Founder and Chairman of Kindly, Paul Rodney Turner.

The California Institute of the Arts is internationally renowned as a game-changer in the education of professional artists. Many are unaware that a large majority of graduates from this university often go on to become prominent Disney and Pixar artists and Directors involved in major featured films. Walt Disney once stated: “CalArts is the principal thing I hope to leave when I move on to greener pastures. If I can help provide a place to develop the talent of the future, I think I will have accomplished something.”

Kindly’s NFT-based project is set to be announced towards the end of Q4 of this year.

Kapur also has a Ph.D. in computer science, music, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, & psychology from the University of Victoria, with a Bachelor of Engineering from Princeton University.
