The rise of blockchain technology has created a new paradigm for measuring social impact, as it provides a secure, transparent, and decentralized platform for tracking and verifying transactions. However, the importance of auditing and compliance cannot be overstated in ensuring that these transactions accurately reflect their intended social impact.

Auditing is critical to ensuring the integrity of the data stored on the blockchain, as it provides a thorough examination of the data and its underlying systems. This process helps to identify any potential weaknesses or anomalies that may negatively impact the accuracy of the data and provides recommendations for improvement. In measuring social impact, auditing is essential for ensuring that the data captured reflects the actual impact on society and that it is not being manipulated or misrepresented.

Compliance means ensuring the information recorded on the blockchain follows established rules and regulations. For example, if an impact partner says it’s planting trees, it should be following environmental laws and standards to make sure it’s making a positive impact.

Having these checks in place helps make sure that the information recorded on the blockchain is the real deal and that it can be trusted. It also helps protect the reputation of the companies and organizations wanting to make a positive impact and gives everyone confidence in the information being recorded.

In summary, auditing and compliance are essential for measuring the good we do using blockchain technology because they help ensure that the recorded information is accurate, trustworthy, and meets the standards we expect at Kindly.

In a world so overwhelmed with fraud and dishonesty, it is imperative that a purpose-driven social enterprise like Kindly, which aims to build its value proposition on trust and transparency, can build open-source and user-friendly solutions for good companies and caring people.

Kindly will offer a unique and robust compliance and audit framework from which our entire operations can scale.

The first component of our approach will be to satisfy the individual preferences of our customers to make the measurable social impact they choose.

The second component of our audit and compliance framework is Funds Management and Security. Here Kindly plans to implement an end-to-end audit and tracking process to ensure impacts are fulfilled. Tracking both on-chain and off-chain activities from all our impact partners. It all starts with compliance and auditing protocols.

Underpinning the entire ecosystem is the Kindly Social Impact Engine. We are establishing the legal framework at launch to ensure our impact partners will deliver what they promise. The Kindly engine will track and measure all impact trigger points on the Polygon blockchain, recording the entire execution of the social impact.

When we talk about legitimate auditing and compliance, it requires Kindly to provide a last-mile audit at both ends of the blockchain to monitor and verify real-world acceptance and delivery on social impact.

Finally, Kindly will thoroughly vet and monitor our social impact partners to ensure they live up to our policies and the obligation to deliver the measurable social impact our customers have paid for. Every impact partner signs an agreement with Kindly during the onboarding process that spells out the expectations and acceptance of quarterly review.

Using the power and innovation of web3 technology, our goal is to own the “supply chain” for measurable social impact.
