Uplift Web3: An Industry-Wide Fundraising Event
This has been a long time coming for Kindly. We initially hinted at this event towards the beginning of the year as we embarked on an ambitious journey to unite the blockchain industry round doing something positive for the space. After months of planning and speaking with a variety of projects, we have finally reached the moment where we can spread it with our community.
What is Uplift Web3?
Kindly is launching an industry-wide Web3 fundraising event where participating projects commit to airdropping digital assets from their ecosystems to people who purchase social impact. Our goal here is to showcase the power of Web3 technology and its community to generate real world impact in a transparent and verifiable manner.
The Major Fundraising Goal
Our goal is generate over $1 Million in purchased social impact. And if we achieve this, Kindly plans to will bring connectivity, power & an ability to generate income to a remote village in Africa in collaboration with a variety of Web3 partners. This is our chance as a community to come together to do something truly great in this industry! More details to follow as we announce some of the partners that will help make this a reality if we reach our goal.
Why Now?
For far too long, the cryptocurrency industry has been attacked and marred by scams, legal scrutiny, and negative prejudice. Not to mention the overly focused attention towards making money rather than self-empowerment. As an organization dedicated to spreading kindness and doing good, we are making it our priority to bring positivity and joy to Web3. As a result, we think this is a great way to set a positive example for the space while also incentivizing the community to do good in the real world.
When will it launch?
The Uplift Web3 Fundraising Event will officially launch on May 30th, 2024 and will run for two months ending on July 31, 2024.
How will it work?
Uplift Web3 will be an industry-wide fundraising event to generate measurable social impact in the following manner:
- Users visit UpliftWeb3.com & purchase measurable social impact
- Participants will then receive an exclusive NFT-based Uplifters PFP Pass that is inspired by an influential concept artist that has also worked with all the major animation and entertainment studios such as Disney, Marvel, Nikelodeon, Warner Brothers & Netflix
- At the end of the event, participants will need to use their Uplifters PFP Pass and provide Proof of Uniqueness to claim FREE airdrops from partnered Web3 projects. Please note that you will only be able to claim rewards from ONE Uplifter PFP Pass linked to your Proof of Uniqueness wallet address.
- The more you give, the more you receive
- All purchases will be tracked & verifiable on the blockchain using Kindly’s Social Impact Platform.
What are Uplifters?
Uplifter PFP Passes are not just NFTs but they represent likeminded individual. Uplifters are your badge of honor that symbolize the best people in Web3 who are positive about life and look to spread kindness wherever they go. There are also special traits that come along with your Uplifters which may increase your chances of getting more rewards and/or winning major milestone giveaways. What types of impact can we generate?
Participants will be able to choose from four social impacts which include;
- Feeding People in Need
- Providing Books to Africa
- Feeding Rescued Animals
- Preventing Ocean-Bound Plastics
Kindly has joined forces with industry leading impact partners to help execute these orders.
What are the Rewards?
During the 2-month long fundraising event there will be two main types of rewards users can receive. The first is Airdrops, which will be distributed to all participating users. These airdrops could be tokens, in-game assets, NFTs etc. The second type of rewards are Major Milestone Giveaways. When the total amount of purchase social impact reaches different levels, it will unlock a special milestone in which are limited amount of items will be randomly given away to selected users.
