In case you missed it, here’s a short recap of Ted’s Q&A yesterday:

  • Exchanges: “It’s a confidential process. We are fully aware that for this ecosystem to work, there needs to be liquidity for these tokens on major exchanges.”
  • Drag and drop SDK: This is our number one focus right now. “Out of the box, any app out there can take this Kin SDK, drop it in, and within five minutes they could boot their app, there’s a balance for their users. There’s instant ways to earn and ways to spend.”
  • Scalable blockchain: Our number two focus next year will be moving to a new blockchain. “Using Ethereum has been complicated… The scale is very low. Even at 10,000 users, [we’re] starting to push the limits of the Ethereum blockchain.” CryptoKitties has actually delayed the roll out of IPLv2 because it’s slowed Ethereum. In Q2, we plan to migrate to Stellar. “It’s custom built for an application like Kin. It’s focused on what it wants to solve for. [It provides] fast, reliable, and inexpensive transactions for a lot of people.” We’ll be testing this over the next few weeks.

Ted plans to do these every month. Let us know if you have feedback on the format.
