We want the new player experience at Kingdom Karnage to feel fun and rewarding. To that end, we have made several changes to our loot drops including:

  • Increased Diamond drops across all dungeons.
  • Replaced Common card drops with Diamond drops in Catacombs.
  • Increased Rare card drop rates across normal dungeons.
  • Balanced normal dungeons so loot improves in a stepped way.

Normal Dungeons

The normal dungeons of Kingdom Karnage drop a card/equipment of one of 5 rarities or Diamonds. The dungeons are equally divided into 3 different tiers:

  • Tier 1 dungeons (BB, AR, TK) drop 500 diamonds.
  • Tier 2 dungeons (TT, M, PoB) drop 625 diamonds.
  • Tier 3 dungeons (KP, JH, TR) drop 750 diamonds.

This means even a Tier 1 dungeon now guarantees you a card for every successful dungeon run (500 diamonds can be exchanged for a random card).

Catacombs

As the previous selling point for Catacombs had been a guaranteed card drop, our recent changes to Normal dungeons meant this was no longer a selling point.

Therefore Common card drops have been removed completely and have been replaced by a minimum 825 diamond drop (or ~1.65 characters) which now means Catacombs again has the best minimum drop in the game.

In Catacombs your loot chances can be further enhanced by “luck”. The primary source of luck in Kingdom Karnage is equipping a Lucky Trinket, you can also buy a 2% luck booster (5 uses) once per day.

In addition to the normal loot table, Catacombs remains the only place you can loot Enchanted Coins and Multiverse Items.

The highest luck trinket is 10%, however, there is effectively no cap to luck meaning with the 2% luck boost, 12% is the highest luck that is currently possible.

Lucky Trinkets are available in one of 5 rarities.

How do I get a Lucky Trinket?

Most Lucky Trinkets have already been distributed. You can see the remaining trinkets in the table below:

There is no current plan on how the remaining Lucky Trinkets will be distributed, it is likely at least some will make up the loot pool for our paid loot box which is due to go live within the month (more info soon!).

That's all from us for now, We hope everyone enjoys having the loot tables back, these should now be a permanent fixture. To ensure you are referring to the most up-to-date version, please refer to our game guide.

Happy looting everyone!
